Articles like this one shame me when it comes to driving a measly four miles to work. But not as much as my co-worker Tim, who rides his bike to work in an Iowa winter out of fiscal necessity.

The thing that always gets me is that burning throat/lung thing, but evidently I am just making that up:
"No matter how cold the air is, by the time it reaches your lungs, it is body temperature, he explained."
If it weren't for these three things, I would probably bike outside:
1) not having any "winter gear"
2) snow/ice
3) my own attitude.
Guess some things still need adjustment.
